Media Accreditation & Partners

AME is the lead association for the mineral exploration and development industry based in British Columbia. It hosts AME Roundup annually. In 2016, AME Roundup drew more than 5,400 participants from 33 countries for its technical program, exhibit hall and networking events.

Printed Media

Journalists/reporters or editors from relevant printed or electronic publications will be accredited to attend as media delegates to cover stories on AME and the mineral exploration industry.

Printed media representatives must sit in the designated Media area during technical and keynote presentations.

TV, Radio, and Production Hosts

Accreditations are limited to essential personnel – TV crew, presenters, production managers and technical staff – and are approved at the discretion of AME. All videographers must carry AME Roundup Media badges for identification.

Monday AM presentations are open to all accredited media; filming of all other events requires prearrangement of time, venue and presentation and the written consent of participants being videographed or interviewed.

Media Validation Requirements

AME BC reserves the right to request the following validations before granting accreditation:

  • Recognized Media or Press Card
  • Letter of assignment on official letterhead from the Editor or Bureau Chief
  • Freelance journalists may be requested to provide two byline editorial stories

Accreditation applications from advertising personnel and media sales representatives will not be accepted.
