Manager Business Development – Metals, SQM
Dr. Lindsay is an economic geologist specialized in determining structural controls on mineralizing systems with some 25 years working in Latin America. Currently he is responsible for determining prospective land packages, within an area over 2.5Mha, for multiple styles of mineralization, prospect identification and generation, and seeking exploration alliance partners for SQM. He has established several alliances to date that cover over 580kha in 11 agreements within which over $35M has been spent in the ground exploring. He has extensive experience in the administration, design and execution of exploration and project development programs through feasibility studies. His technical work integrates project development requirements (environmental, permitting, geological, geotechnical, geometallurgical) within a context of social /community best practice. Darryl’s background includes the practical application of structural geological studies to problems in mining and exploration as well as experience in capital raising in the junior exploration industry.
Darryl holds a BSC(Hon) from Carleton University (Ottawa, ON) and PhD from Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS) and is a registered Professional Geologist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (#1050).
