Graham Carman

Dr. Graham Carman is a geologist with 25 years of experience in mineral exploration in South America, Australia and Asia. Graham lived in Peru from 1994-2000 evaluating projects for several major mining companies including Rio Tinto, Savage Resources and Pasminco. He was a key discovery team member of the Yanque and Accha zinc-lead deposits in the Cusco region of Peru, and advanced the Florida zinc deposit in northern Peru while exploration manager of Pasminco. During the 2000’s, Graham worked with several eastern Australian focused gold-copper-uranium explorers and was Managing Director of Paradigm Metals for several years until 2011. In 2012, Graham became President and CEO of Darwin Resources Corp., a TSXV listed company and project generator with a focus in Peru.  Tinka Resources and Darwin Resources merged in July 2014.  Graham has been President and CEO of Tinka since then, focusing on the exploration and development of Tinka’s Ayawilca zinc and tin project in Peru. Graham graduated from Victoria University of Wellington New Zealand with a First Class B.Sc.(Hons), and subsequently completed his PhD on the geology of the giant Lihir Island gold deposit PNG at Monash University.  He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy
