Julia Lane

Julia Lane has worked in mineral exploration predominately in the Yukon for over 10 years and has been involved in advancing ATAC’s flagship Rackla Gold Property since 2009. In 2012 Julia became a partner with Archer, Cathro and Associates – a geological consulting firm formed in the Yukon and active for over 50 years. Julia was appointed Vice President of Exploration for ATAC in 2015, and is responsible for conceiving and directing all of ATAC’s exploration. In her tenure with ATAC, Julia has managed programs consisting of 6 diamond drill rigs and over 130 people.

Since 2011, Julia has spoken at various conferences in Canada and the United States discussing ATAC’s discoveries of Carlin-type gold mineralization and the characteristics which define it. Julia holds a B.Sc. in geology from UBC and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC.
