Robin Junger is a partner with McMillan LLP, where he co-chairs the Aboriginal Law, Environmental Law and Oil and Gas (BC) Law groups. Robin works with a wide range of clients including industry, First Nations and public bodies. In addition to practicing law for many years, Robin has also served as Deputy Minister of Energy, Mines & Petroleum Resources, Chair of the Oil and Gas Commission and Deputy Minister of Energy and Clean Technology. He also has served as Associate Deputy Minister responsible for the Environmental Assessment Office, and as a Chief Provincial Treaty Negotiator. Robin holds law degrees Harvard Law School and UBC and clerked with the BC Court of Appeal.
Robin will be part of a legal panel discussing contemporary and emerging Aboriginal law issues in Canada related to mineral exploration and development.
