A one-day course reviewing the helpful tools, tips and tricks to use when applying with a notice of work for a Mines Act permit to conduct Mineral Exploration activities in BC. This will include: other authorizations you may need, changes to the NoW application process, mapping standards and geospatial submissions using iMapBC, BCeID, registered companies, use of agents, Explore by location, early engagement with First Nations and who to contact, overlapping authorizations, reclamation bond calculations, Mines Act permit templates, MineSpace, permitting life cycle of an exploration site, progressive reclamation and return of the reclamation security, etc. It will also include a breakout session with representatives from each of the 5 mining regions, for regional specific information about permitting.
