Summary: Do you have questions about how to comply with the disclosure requirements of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects? Are you unsure how to prepare compliant disclosure? Are you being asked to act as a Qualified Person but are unsure about what is involved? This one-day short course is designed to remind you of the key parts of NI 43-101 that all companies and professionals should know.
This course focuses on many of the fundamental aspects of the disclosure requirements that geoscientists, engineers, and company executives need to understand to provide compliant and decision-useful mineral project information to the public. We focus on exploration, resource and preliminary economic assessment (PEA) level projects as these account for more than 75% of the disclosure in a given year. We will also cover the most common deficiencies and problems seen. Presentations will also include where Canadian regulation fits globally, the framework of disclosure in Canada, and how to navigate a regulatory review. There will also be discussion of current trends, hot topics, what is happening in other jurisdictions, and some highlights of what we see on the horizon.
Technical staff from the BC Securities Commission and legal counsel from Dentons will discuss details of disclosure deficiencies, as well as legal aspects to consider when making mineral project disclosure. Was always include ample time to answer questions.
