The Canadian Minerals and Metals Plan presents the opportunity for the federal, provincial and territorial governments to help increase Indigenous participation in the development of minerals and metals through economic and social development. Join us in a dialogue facilitated by Harold Tarbell of the Tarbell Facilitation Network on options for increasing Indigenous stakes in procurement contracts in minerals and metals mining, including: effective joint-venturing and partnering, negotiating benefits for communities, transferable and transportable skills, planning for mine closure and economic diversification.

Panel participants include:  P. Jerry Asp, Tahltan Nation; Lana Eagle, AME Board of Directors; and Kyela de Weerdt of Mining Shared Value / Engineers without Borders.
