AME Remote Roundup Questions

Why is the AME Roundup 2021 “Remote”?

Leading through the change caused by the global pandemic, the conference will be presented in an entirely virtual format as “AME Remote Roundup” to safely facilitate one of the largest gatherings of the global exploration industry.

How does a virtual conference work?

AME Roundup 2021 will take place online within a virtual conference platform. Traditional conference experiences will be presented in new, exciting digital formats. We will provide more details on the user experience in the weeks and months ahead.

What technology do I need to participate in AME Roundup 2021?

You’ll be able to fully engage and participate remotely on your preferred device that has a speaker, microphone and webcam and is connected to high-speed internet.  Stay tuned for more information on how to access and participate on the actual conference platform.

How does going virtual affect the conference programming and format?

AME Roundup 2021 will still include all of our traditional programming, just presented remotely.  This includes the conference sessions presented in a virtual theatre and a full virtual exhibit hall, including the Exhibitor Booths, Core Shack, Prospectors’ Tent, Project Generators Hub and Poster Session.  Our content will be relevant to on-the-ground realities of today, delivered by high-calibre speakers, through engaging exhibitors and by participating in interactive sessions.

What time zone will the conference be in?

Attendees and participants will be able to access live and on-demand programming from anywhere in the world, whether from home, at work or in camp.  All official AME Roundup 2021 programming will be scheduled between 8:00 am PT and 4:00 pm PT.  While the best experience will always be participating live, all sessions be made available on our digital conference platform for six months.

How will networking work “Remote”?

Networking will look a little different this year, but there will still be plenty of valuable opportunities to make new connections. Stay tuned for more info about our virtual networking lounges and events.
