Prospectors’ Tent 2021 Participant Information

Selection Process

The Roundup Prospectors’ Tent co-chairs will determine who participates. Criteria used in the selection process include the number and nature of the prospects, their novelty, and the quality and originality of the proposed display. Only independent prospectors and small, independent prospecting teams are eligible; larger groups and public companies are encouraged to participate in the Project Generators Hub or Exhibit Hall.

Selected prospectors will be formally confirmed via letter in October 2021. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list. All prospectors are welcome to apply and exhibit, though preference will be given to BC and Yukon-based prospectors.

For the 2022 conference, we can accommodate both in-person displays and virtual presentations by prospectors. Applicants should indicate their preferences on the application form.

Booth Information

Confirmed Prospectors will receive a virtual booth for four days and an in-person booth for two days.

The following materials will be provided at your station:

  • One poster board (4’x8’)
  • One 2’ x 6’ skirted table, two chairs, and one arm light
  • One 750-watt electrical outlet
  • 8’ black drape backing

Exhibitor Kit

The Exhibitor Kit will be available in the Fall.

Costs

There are no costs to participating in the Prospectors’ Tent; however, all confirmed prospectors must register for the conference. Your registration pass can be either Exhibit Hall or Full-Delegate pass. All participating prospectors must also be current individual members of AME.

Prospectors’ Tent participants who participate in person will receive a $250 rebate cheque after the conference to help cover participation costs.
