Ephi leads a global team of experts focused on ensuring compliance and effecting positive
change towards greater social and environmental accountability (SEA), sustainability,
transparency and security in Microsoft’s Devices supply chain. Ephi has extensive experience in
sustainability, strategy, design, regulatory product compliance, quality, supply chain and
manufacturing, technology, and assurance. Prior to joining Microsoft, she held several
leadership roles including: Global Director of Sustainability Management and Strategy at SAP,
led the Environmental Stewardship Program and product regulatory and compliance
organization at Palm, Inc., and Director of Corporate Quality, Americas Region at Solectron. She
has served in various non-profit boards and advisory committees, and currently serves as Chair
on the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Steering Committee and Initiative Responsible
Mining Assurance (IRMA) Board Member representing downstream purchasers.
Ephi holds a MS with a special major in Environmental Policy Research and Management from
California State University, East Bay and BA in Political Science from Ateneo de Manila
University, Philippines. She is a Leading by Design fellow at California College of the Arts, and a
diplomate of Stanford University and University of California, Berkeley’s Business Executive
Education Programs.
