Korah Dewalt

Indigenous Relations and Community Superintendent, New Gold Inc.

Korah is a proud member of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, where she has the opportunity to live, work and play. For the past 10 years, Korah has worked in the resource industry at New Gold’s New Afton Mine in Kamloops, British Columbia and is currently the Indigenous & Community Relations Superintendent for the mine.  Working at New Gold has provided her with the opportunity to collaborate with the Stk’emlúpsemc te Secwépemc Nation to build a stronger future, as well as work directly with the local community of Kamloops. 

Korah has a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion, and is committed to using her voice to help others along their career journey. She believes solutions can be found together through creativity and collaboration.
