Patricia Mohr

Patricia Mohr is an Economist and Commodity Market Specialist, based in Vancouver, and Editor of ‘Critical Metals for a Sustainable World’ – a new publication launched with Capitalight Research to cover the EV and battery metals, key to global decarbonization. Ms. Mohr is the former Vice-President, Economics and Commodity Market Specialist at Scotiabank’s Executive Offices in Toronto, where she worked, for many years, with Corporate & Investment Banking, including the Mining Team, with International Banking and with Global Risk Management. Patricia developed the ‘Scotiabank Commodity Price Index’ – the first Index designed to measure price trends for Canadian commodities in export markets. Ms. Mohr holds an Honours B.A. Degree and an M.A. Degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and has served on the Board of Directors of CRIBE, Avalon Advanced Materials and Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA). Patricia was recently honoured to receive the 2021 ‘Robert Elver Award in Mineral Economics’ from the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM).
