Director of Exploration Australia, Kirkland Lake Gold
Troy Fuller is a Geologist with over 24 years’ experience, holding a variety of leadership roles in open pit and underground operations throughout Australia.
Mr Fuller has experience working on Archaean greenstone-hosted lode gold, Ordovician turbidite-hosted gold and Proterozoic orogenic gold deposits, and has been exposed to a range of other commodities including tantalum, tin and lithium.
Employed by a number of operations across Australia, predominantly in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, Mr Fuller returned to his home state of Victoria in 2005, where he continues to work and reside with his family.
Mr Fuller joined the Fosterville Gold Mine in May 2010 as Geology Manager and has been intrinsic to the significant growth of the mine, with the recent discovery of the high grade Swan mineralization, which forms the basis of the 2.7 million ounce current Mineral Reserve. In March 2019, Mr Fuller was appointed Director of Exploration Australia and now takes the lead of Kirkland Lake Gold’s exploration function for Australia.
Mr Fuller holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) Hons from the University of Ballarat (now Federation University) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists.
