Tyler is a project geologist with the Yukon Geological Survey. His current project is mapping Proterozoic strata in the Wernecke Mountains, east-central Yukon. Prior to joining the YGS, Tyler was a postdoc with the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at the University of British Columbia.
His PhD, completed at the University of Oxford in 2017, was on the structure, metamorphism, and tectonics of the northern Oman-UAE ophiolite. Prior to that Tyler received a MSc at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, and BSc at the University of Victoria.
