Warwick is the Resource Assessment Geologist for the Yukon Geological Survey. He was previously the Director of Exploration and Geology for Qatar Mining where he oversaw the discovery of the world-class Jebel Ohier porphyry copper deposit in northern Sudan, the first such discovery in the Arabian-Nubian Shield. He has worked in Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Canada holding senior positions with a number of exploration/mining companies and government agencies. In addition to Jebel Ohier, Warwick discovered the first primary gold occurrence in Jordan, co-discovered the Highbury lithium deposit in South Africa, and oversaw the mineral resource assessment program at East Sakaro in Ethiopia which led to its development. He has papers published in refereed journals and books, and has presented at conferences around the world.
