Ticket Required
Saturday, January 18
9:00am – 2:00pm

In partnership with AME, Britannia Mine Museum is offering an organized trip with return transportation from the Vancouver Conference Center to Britannia Mine Museum, one of British Columbia’s top tourist attractions just 45 minutes north of Vancouver on Saturday, January 18.

AME Roundup attendees and their families are invited to join AME President & CEO Keerit Jutla for a special visit to one of North America’s favourite mining museums. This visit includes their world-famous underground tour, access to the award-winning BOOM! show in the historic mill building, and a chance to explore the remediation of Howe Sound in the temporary exhibit Ore & Orcas.  Visit Britannia Mine Museum for more information and what there is to see and do.

Your visit will include:

  • Transportation: A bus will be available to transport attendees from the Vancouver Convention Centre to Britannia Mine Museum via the Squamish Connector. The bus will depart the convention centre at 9 AM, and will return at 2 PM.
  • Lunch: This package includes a bagged lunch including a sandwich, cookie, cold drink, and chips. Complimentary coffee will be available in our Multi-Purpose Room.

In order for the trip to take place, we require the participation of 20 individuals to sign up prior to January 8, 2025.
