Growing up on an exploration camp within a family of exploration geologists in the famous “Golden Quadrilateral” in Western Transylvania in Romania, Paul followed the family passion for rocks and graduated top of class BSc in Geology follow by MSc in Petrology and Ore Deposits at University of Bucharest. This was complemented by additional training and research at University of Salzburg and ETH Zurich. While working on greenfield and brownfield exploration on Western Tethyan Belt for nearly 20 years with Barrick, Eldorado Gold and DPM, Paul gained a broad experience on exploration management, effective targeting and drill testing, resource modelling and evaluation of a wide range of ore deposits and has been championing discovery of more than 10 Moz Au Eq.
