CMEBC Prospecting Course

Every year, the Chamber of Mines of Eastern BC offers a Basic Prospecting Course. This year, the short course will be presented at AME Roundup.

• Rock Identification
• Ore Deposits
• Strategic/Critical Metals, Industrial Minerals & Mineral Economics
• Geochemical & Geophysical Surveys
• Placer Mining
• Prospecting Procedures & Mineral Titles
• Structural Geology

The course is delivered by the following experienced geologists and prospectors:

• David Johnston, Prospector and President of the Chamber of Mines of Eastern BC
• Dan Hurd, Prospector and Curator of the “Dan Hurd Prospecting” Youtube channel
