Mr. Joudrie is an accomplished business leader with >35 years of diverse mining and metals industry experience and a track record of assembling dynamic teams, creating paths to value, and unlocking investment opportunities across the globe. Mr. Joudrie is currently the President & CEO of Selkirk Copper Mines Inc. which is the first publicly traded mining company in Canada with significant Indigenous equity ownership and Board of Director representation that will operate as Indigenous-led commercial and operating partnership.From 2011 to 2024, Mr. Joudrie was Vice President Business Development with Teck Resources Limited directing several advanced base and precious metal development projects in the Americas as well as establishing and managing numerous joint venture interests and partnerships. His expertise includes building and supporting high-performing and value-focused teams, extensive experience working with communities and stakeholders to foster excellence and respect, developing pragmatic and capital efficient mining project configurations, selecting fit-for-purpose mining and mineral processing technologies, and delivering on investment plans. In his role with Teck Resource Limited, he worked closely with Indigenous groups and communities in the vicinity of several mine development projects, including most recently in central Chile, southern Peru, central Mexico, northern Minnesota, and northwest British Columbia.
Mr. Joudrie holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Geology degree from Queen’s University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Western University. Mr. Joudrie is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM), the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), and is active in the Queen’s and Western Alumni communities.
