Doug Kreiner is the Associate Center Director, geology and research geologist with the U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Science Center. Following his PhD, Doug worked in the mineral exploration industry exploring for porphyry Cu, epithermal and Carlin-style gold exploration programs in the western US. He joined the USGS in 2016 and continues to study and apply system-scale approaches to understand regional metallogeny and space-time relationships of hydrothermal systems.
