Dr. Simandl worked for IOC, AECL, Canada Talc Industries, BCGS, and as a critical and industrial minerals consultant. From 2010 to 2020, he was a Science Lead of the Specialty Metals component of the NRCAN-TGI program. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria.
