Joe Mazumdar

Mr. Mazumdar joined Exploration Insights in 2015 and serves as its sole editor. He brings more than two decades of experience across mining analysis, corporate strategy, and exploration, including senior roles at Newmont Corp., Haywood Securities, Canaccord Genuity, and Phelps Dodge. Earlier in his career, he worked as an exploration geologist across South America, Australia, and Canada. He holds graduate degrees in geology, mining, and mineral economics from the University of Alberta, James Cook University, and the Colorado School of Mines.
