Kelsey Dodd began working for Barkerville Gold Mines, now Osisko Development – Cariboo Gold Project, in 2011 and is currently the Engagement and Consultation Lead. She holds a Project Management Certificate from UBC Sauder School of Business and has been a project coordinator on the Cariboo Gold Project EA since 2016.
Kelsey has worked closely with Chris Pharness, VP of Sustainable Development (Osisko Development Corp.), gaining valuable experience in the regulator processes, communication, and relationship building in the mining industry. She was part of the team that successfully permitted the Bonanza Ledge Mine – Phases I and II and has been a part of teams that have had a total of 14 successful applications for permit issuance across Barkerville Gold Mines properties.
In her role as Engagement and Consultation Lead, Kelsey works closely with our Indigenous nations partners, local communities, and governments to support the sustainable and responsible development of the Cariboo Gold Project. She sees value in how the company has developed its relationships and is building solid foundations with the individuals and communities we work with.
