Lana Eagle

Lana is a member of the Whitecap Dakota First Nation and one of Canada’s most respected Indigenous relations strategists. She provides her advisory service through Lana Eagle Consulting. She is well-known in the mineral exploration sector for her depth of knowledge regarding Indigenous engagement, for helping companies to build relationships with Indigenous communities. Her background is in banking, economic development, wealth management and mineral exploration. Lana was a “pioneer” for Indigenous women in being one of the first to Chair a publicly traded junior mineral exploration company. She is a Board member of Geoscience B.C. and the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, where she also serves as Co-chair of the Indigenous Affairs Committee. Lana also serves on the board of Kodiak Copper Corp.
