Ocean Van Mierlo

Field Technician, Tahltan ERM

Ocean is a member of the Tahltan Nation from the Quock family and Crow Clan. Ocean grew up in Dease Lake before completing secondary school in Terrace. She is currently completing her last year of her undergrad in a double major in biology and environmental studies at the University of Victoria. She has spent the past few summers working at proposed and operating mining projects in Tahltan territory such as Galore Creek, and Brucejack project. This past summer she has worked as a field technician with TEEM.
