Patrick Sack joined the Yukon Geological Survey in 2011 focusing on metallogenic research and working with the exploration and mining community as an Economic Geologist. He began his geological career in with summer employment in the junior exploration industry in Yukon.
After completing B.Sc. studies at the University of Victoria he completed a Ph.D. at the University of Tasmania, Centre of Excellence in Ore Deposit Research on the Greens Creek massive sulphide deposit in southeast Alaska.
Patrick recently completed a multi-year study of Jurassic plutons in Yukon and is currently working on a similar study on Late Cretaceous magmatic rocks and related mineralization in Yukon.
